Permission Requests
Thank you for your interest in arranging or adapting one of my songs. I love that my music is meaningful to you — and I am happy to consider thoughtful, intentional requests.
Because each piece is protected by copyright law, written permission is required before creating any arrangement, adaptation, derivative work, recording, or distribution.
To make the process simple (and to protect everyone involved), please fill out the form below with as much detail as possible.
Only serious inquiries will be considered.
Before You Apply — Please Read This Carefully
To respect the integrity of the music and my livelihood as a composer:
I am generally open to:
-
One-time arrangements for ward or stake performances
-
School or community choirs
-
Small, local ensembles
-
Non-commercial personal arrangements
-
Educational use (with credit given)
I am rarely able to approve:
-
Arrangements intended for resale
-
Competing versions of currently published voicings
-
Anything that overlaps directly with the styles, voicing, or purpose of my existing catalog
-
Commercial recordings or streaming releases without a proper license
-
Projects that significantly alter the spirit or message of the song
If you are unsure whether your idea falls into one of these categories, feel free to apply — but please provide full details.
